Following his debut album in 2000, Turgay Başyayla has not stopped for a second as he continued to work in music and TV. Despite the busy schedule he has just released a new 5 track album called Vefa.
For the album we licensed Cem Karaca’s Kahya Yahya & Barış Manço’s Halil İbrahim Sofrası.
The album which is a brilliant homage to the greats of Turkish music was arranged by Mehmethan Dişbudak and was also produced by Turgay Başyayla. The album also features a suprise remix of Halil İbrahim Sofrası.
The first video for the album was directed by Şafak Karaman for Cem Karaca’s song Kahya Yahya.
