Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo & Bill Paxton the film focuses on the character Lou Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) who is a highly driven individual looking to make a career for himself. Lou begins to travel the streets at night documenting all form of crime he comes across and then finds a job as a night reporter at a popular local television station. However his obsessive nature and ambition cause this new career to take a dark turn.
