Ümit Kuzer's musical education began with piano lessons from Meliha Özbal and Adnan Saygun. Ümit had a great interest in a number of musical genre's other than classical music such as jazz, electronic and rock; by combining all of them he created his own style.
Although a successful musician Ümit has acted as a producer and composer on a number of albums. Some of the well known names he has an input in are Deniz Arcak, Seden Gürel, Sibel Tüzün, Ajda Pekkan, Eda Özülkü, Özlem Tekin, Athena, Nilüfer, Umay Umay, Aylin Aslım, Sevingül Bahadır, Keremcem, Sarp…
Since 1998 he has been arranging, composing jingles and working on film music in Virus Studios which he formed with Martin Spencer.
