Turgut Özüfler was born in Istanbul, 1976. Born into a musical family Turgut began playing the kanun at the age of 5. After completing his musical education at Istanbul University National conservatory, he began working at the TRT Radio. Turgut has worked as a musician on countless albums, film and TV music and given many concerts abroad. He is still an active musician.
